I live with a 60 year old woman, Susana, and her dog. I was told that she (the dog) was cute and playful. It was a lie. This dog is hideous, smells something awful, eats and slobbers all over my socks, and throws up when she hears thunder. Her name is Boni, short for Bonita, or, in English, 'Pretty.'
I do my best to ignore it and keep it out of my room, and save all the cuddling and touching for Susana (Boni sleeps on her pillow each night, it's a wonder Susana isn't smothered.) Anyway, Susana finally confronted me about it the other day.
"Why don't you like Boni? Why don't you hug her sometimes?"
"I don't know, I don't really like dogs that much." [lie]
"So you don't play with your dog?"
"I guess I do sometimes, because I am used to her."
"You know, you don't have to be used to a dog to like them. When I meet my friends dogs I like them immediately."
"K."
Anyway, the point of this post was to show you a picture of her. Courtesy of Jen.

Now, for the sake of a gaining some perspective, let's contrast her with my regal pup. Photo courtesy of Debbie.

It is hard to be with another dog when you have the best. Shana misses her Arielle.
